In the first round of qualifying the car got a little sideways from tire shake and Mark lifted.
In the 2nd round of qualifying  he made a decent run of  5.814 @ 244.87 mph which would
eventually put us in the # 5 qualifying position. The 3rd round’s early numbers were good, but
Mark had to abort the run, when the car started to have tire shake.  For the first round of
competition we were paired up with Von Smith. Mark did not cut a very good light as the yellow
came on when he was checking the launch RPM. It really did not matter as we rolled a sprag on
the transmission when it shifted into 2nd gear ending the run.

The Woz leaves hard and then the cars starts to move towards the center line. He pumps it
and pulls back into the center of the lane to finish the run.

Von Smith is on the bump spot at 9.372. Nice pass for The Woz and he moves up to the #3
spot. O'Bannon has to pump it at the shift and it costs some ET, but he is in the field for now.
He was the runner up in TAD here in 2006.

the field. No joy, as the slicks start to spin right after the 60 foot lights and he clicks it

been gone for some time and it's a warm as it's been all weekend.
The Woz's problems go from bad to worse, as he is way late at the green and then has the
blower bang. Smith motors on down for the easy win.
